Mrs. Lucille Sarah Edge Tietjen, 83, of Columbia, died Thursday, March 14, 2013. Born on January 26, 1930, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Edge and Ethel Marsh Edge. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Casamento (John); granddaughters, Brenda and Angela Casamento, all of Columbia and Danbury, CT; sister-in-law, Jayne Edge of Cayce, SC; cousins, Sally Blume, Eula Shealy, and Richard Blume, all of Blythewood, SC; nephews, Cleveland Edge of Cayce, SC, James Dennis of West Columbia, SC; and Louis Bodie of Pelion, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis John Tietjen; brother, Thomas B. Bodie; sister, June E. Bodie; and a nephew, Thomas Edge.

A memorial service for Mrs. Tietjen will be held, 2 o'clock, Wednesday, March 20th, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, with The Rev. Neil Flowers officiating. A private inurnment at Kelly Cemetery will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
