Luther Kennedy Kelly, 86, of Columbia, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Born June 6, 1926 in Columbia, he was a son of the late Thomas Bunyan Kelly and Maude Rose Kelly. He graduated from the old Columbia High School. Luther retired from Capital Blueprint and was a charter member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and served on a number of committees. He was a Mason and a member of the Jamil Shrine Temple. Luther loved Gamecock sports, golf and baseball.

He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews; and was preceded in death seven days previous by his wife, Julia Mae Burch Kelly. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Eleanor Grace Kelly Shull (Everett), Thomas Bunyan Kelly, Jr. (Lucille), and Norwood Rose Kelly (Pearl).

The funeral for Mr. Kelly will be held 2 o'clock, Friday, March 29th, at Crescent Hill Baptist Church, with The Rev. Lee Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock. Memorials may be made to the church at 2659 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29204.
