Obituary
M. Don Miller, Jr., 64, of Elgin, died Saturday, October 12, 2013. Born June 9, 1949 in Monks Corner, SC, he was a son of the late Mack Donald Miller, Sr. and Gertrude Cross Miller. Mr. Miller graduated from The University of South Carolina where he was a member of Chi Psi Fraternity, and the Game Cock Club for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Patti Miller; a sister, Susan Miller; niece, Carrie Dowling; nephew, J. W. Dowling; great-nephew, Landon Dowling all of Cross, SC; and his 3 loving companions, Cocoa, Panda Roo, and Ellie Mae.
A graveside service will be held at 1 o'clock, Wednesday, October 16th at Friendship Methodist Church, 1300 Ranger Road, Cross, SC with The Rev. Mark Wood officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Pets Inc., 300 Orchard Drive, Box 6394, West Columbia, SC 29171.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at the Hartwell Suite of Palmetto Richland Heart Hospital. Especially Dr. Jeff Martin, and staff nurses, Carolyn, Robin, Sue, Lynn, and Susan.
