Moffatt Dupre "Moff/Brad" Bradford, Jr., age 65, of Columbia, passed away peacefully July 12, 2018 of natural causes. Moffatt was born January 28, 1953 to his late parents, Jean Wolling Bradford and Moffatt Dupre Bradford, Sr., in Frankfort, Germany, where they lived briefly while his father was serving in the US Army. He spent the rest of his life in Columbia, where he graduated from Dreher High School in 1971. Moff later completed his bachelor's degree in civil engineering at the University of South Carolina. Prior to engineering, Moff spent many years as a surveyor and draftsman, where he enjoyed working outdoors and exercising his considerable math skills. Throughout the years, much time was enjoyed fishing and relaxing with family and friends at Lake Wateree. Since childhood, he was an avid reader and always enjoyed lively discourse on anything from classical literature to classic comics; as well as, history and current events. He could often be found in such deliberations at his favorite watering hole of many years, Group Therapy in Five Points. His wry wit is legendary! Collecting and trading special edition knives was another passion. He was a generous friend, father, and brother. His companionship will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include his daughter, Krista Levin of Long Branch, NJ; grandsons, Stanley Pasterczyk of Middletown, NJ; Dylan Levin of Long Branch, NJ; sister, Meredith Bradford Clebsch of Greenback, TN; aunt, Charlotte Wolling Pierce of Columbia; and several cousins.

A memorial celebration will be held at later date.
