Obituary
Margaret Crosby Garcia, 86, of Hopkins, died Monday, November 3, 2014. Born in Neeses, SC, on May 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Norris and Maggie Williams Chavis.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Jose Garcia of Hopkins; sons, Eddie Crosby of Irmo, Johnny (Jo) Crosby of Ballentine, Paul (Charlotte) Nelson of St. Helena's Island, SC; as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jean Fuller.
A graveside service for Mrs. Garcia will be held at 12 o'clock Friday, November 7, 2014, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
