Margaret Reynolds Hill, 68, of Columbia, died on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC, on July 16, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Jack B. Reynolds, Sr., and Edith Matthews Smith Reynolds.
She was a graduate of Winthrop College where she studied Interior Design. Mrs. Hill grew up at Ascension Lutheran Church in Columbia and later joined Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she became an extremely active member. While at Good Shepherd, she was involved in the Social Ministry Committee, helping with the Ramp Ministry, Teddy Bear Program and chairing the annual Operation InAsMuch service project in the Midlands for several years. As a member of the property committee, she also helped with redesigning the church nursery.
Survivors include her husband, David Charles Hill; brother, Jack B. Reynolds, Jr. (Debbie); nephew, Patrick Reynolds (Emily); as well as great-nephew and great-niece, Walter and Fiona Reynolds; and numerous extended family members.
The funeral service for Mrs. Hill will be held at 1 o'clock, Saturday, July 20th, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Burial will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church beginning at 12 o'clock.
