Margaret P. Price, 94, of Blythewood, died on Monday, January 3, 2022. Born in Blythewood, SC, on February 1, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Boyd M. and Mamie Abell Price. Mrs. Price was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and worked as a Medical Records Clerk for the Department of Mental Health.

Survivors include her step-son, Antony E. Price; step-daughters, Carol Monteith (Lynn) and Jennifer Merkt; step-grandchildren, Michelle Evergetis, Conrad Klein and Audrey Klein; three step-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William E. Branham and John Erie Price; grandson, Sean McLean; as well as her siblings, Charlie Price, Mary Elizabeth Price, Irene Entzminger, Rachel Oxner, Emma Ballentine and Boyd Price.

The graveside service for Mrs. Price will be held at 11 o'clock, Thursday, January 6th, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia. The family ask that you wear a mask and maintain a safe social distance. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
