On July 25, 2017, Margie Goeke at Agape Hospice House went to be with our Lord. Although Margie had dementia, she was able to be at home where she received lots of T.L.C. from her family which included her husband, Mike, nieces, nephews and Home Care Comfort Keepers. She was a family oriented person and was always thrilled by their visits or going to visit them. Margie's love for travel afforded her to see every state in the union and cruise several destinations.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Mike Goeke; brothers, Victor Roberts, of DeLand, Florida and David Roberts of Palm City, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Walter and Mary Bundrick Roberts, Margie was preceded in death by brothers, Crawford, Ulyses, ALgie, W.C "Dub", and Raymond; sisters, Ruth, Verlie, Macie and Andrena.

The service for Mrs. Goeke will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, July 29th at St. David's Episcopal Church, 605 Polo Road, Columbia with The Rev. William M. "Scotty" Brock and The Rev. James P. "Jimmy" Hartley officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext, Columbia.

The family request in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
