Ida Marguerite Kelly Cannon, 88, widow of William A. Cannon, died Sunday, December 30, 2012. Born in Columbia on August 26, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Lucas Kelly and Evelyn Youngblood Kelly. Mrs. Cannon enjoyed gardening and was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cannon is survived by her step-son, William A. (Benita) Cannon, Jr. and their family. She is also survived by a niece, Faith Clark (Lynn) Koon; nephews, Fred L. (Phyllis) Price, Jr. and Robert Edward (Renee) Clark; as well as a wonderful friend, Mable Williams, and her daughter, Nancy. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cannon is preceded in death by her siblings, Alice Thelma, Anna Dorothy, Juanita Evelyn, Ruth Mildred, Benjamin Lucas, Jr., John William, Cleo and Ansel.

A graveside service for Mrs. Cannon will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, January 2nd at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends following the service.
