Services for Marie Richardson Perry, 90, of Columbia, will be held 11:30 o'clock, Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Perry, born in Irmo, died Thursday, August 4, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Nettie Younginer Richardson. She retired from Belk Department Store after 26 years of service, and she was a member of Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Phyllis Perry Amick and son-in-law Ronnie Amick of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Perry of West Columbia; grandchildren, Leslie Griggs, Cliff Amick, and Tammy Corless; great-grandchildren, Trenton Goshorn, Liam and Meghan Wright, Watson and Walker Amick, Madison Moody, and Farria Hopkins; step-grandchild, Chris Lunsford and step-great-grandchild, Ebony Griggs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo Perry; son, Johnny Arlo Perry; brothers, Alvin, Rudolph, Ralph, Joseph B., Harold, Kenneth, and twin brother, Marion "Buddy"; sisters, Louise Eleazer, Nadine Wilson, and Ida Mae Harmon.
