Marie R. Sposa, 94, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, only a month shy of her 95th birthday. Marie was born on April 10, 1930, to the late Patsy Rivellese and Anna Mary Rivellese. Marie attended St. Cecilia High School in Englewood, NJ. Marie married William R. Sposa on October 18, 1953, at St. Anthony's Church, Northvale, NJ. They were happily married for 71 years.

Marie was originally from Northvale, NJ and later moved to Palm Coast, FL. While in Florida, she joined the Grand Reserve, a lady's golf club. She was an avid golfer and very involved in various events with the club. She enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles. Marie was a collector. She had a keen eye for expensive purses, shoes, and Santas to add to her collections. Most of all, Marie loved her grandchildren. They each were the apple of her eye.

Marie is survived by her husband, William R. Sposa; children, Lynn S. Keene and husband, Jeff of Rutherfordton, NC, Cindylu A. Loa and husband, Jose Luis of Elmwood Park, NJ, Geralyn S. Figueroa and Mario of East Brunswick, NJ, and Douglas W. Sposa and wife, Lisa of Hermitage, TN; grandchildren, Jennifer, Billy, Kelly, Christopher, Gregory, Marissa, Ashley, Marina, Mario, and Lauren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Marie is predeceased by her parents listed above and grandson, Michael.
