Marion McCoy Frost, Sr., 95, of Columbia, died on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Born in Richland County, SC, on December 30, 1925, he was a son of the late James William and Minnie Lee Frost. Marion loved to fish and devote time to gardening. He enjoyed working with anything mechanical and spending time in the mountains. Marion loved being with people and was a great cook.

Survivors include his wife, Belva McDonald Frost; son, Marion McCoy Frost, Jr. "Maxie"; daughter-in-law, Debbie Frost; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, James William Frost "Billy".

The graveside service for Mr. Frost will be held at 3:30 o'clock, Friday, January 8th, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, with Chaplain Charles Pollock officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.

The family would like to acknowledge their appreciation to Brenda and Renell, as well as Prisma Health Hospice for their love and care in the recent weeks.
