Martha L. Bailey, 86, passed away in Spotsylvania County VA, on July 23, 2012 after a two- year battle with cancer.
Martha was born February 13, 1926, in Riverton, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bailey; her parents, Beula and Austin Judy; her brothers, Hansel, and Ed Judy; her sister, Norma Smith; and her long-time sweetie, Leroy Lominick. She is survived by her sister, Dessie Brendle of Glen Burnie, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. Martha was a long-time resident of Columbia, South Carolina before relocating to Fredericksburg, Virginia in 2006 to be near family.

She enjoyed the simple things in life, especially getting together with family members to play her favorite card game, Setback.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 25th, from 5 until 7 o'clock, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia A graveside service will be held at Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville, South Carolina on Thursday, July 26th at 11 o'clock.
