Martha Baldwin "Boots" Babb, 93, of Blythewood, SC, formerly of Roanoke, VA, joined her heavenly family on March 10, 2013. Boots, the youngest of 12, was born to Robert & Maude Glass Baldwin of Roanoke, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin Babb, owner of Babb's Restaurant. While in Blythewood, Boots attended Trinity United Methodist Church. Boots was a member of South Roanoke UMC.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mickey and Brent Babb (wife, Robin) of Hardy, VA; her daughter, Caroline Babb Hudson of Blythewood; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and her sister, Jane York. Boots was passionate about family, her "Awesome" Terry Broom and many friends. Boots enjoyed flowers, birds, board games, and 5 o'clock somewhere.

Visitation will be at Trinity UMC in Blythewood on Tuesday, March 12 at 3 PM followed by her funeral service at 4 PM. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, March 13 at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA. Pallbearers are grandsons Joel Babb, Roby & Ryan Hudson, BJ Babb and Travis Jones, David Teague and Brian Brooke, husbands of granddaughters, Stephanie Teague and Courtney Brooke.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity UMC (Building Fund), PO Box 864, Blythewood, SC 29016 will be appreciated. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
