Marvin Strange, 83, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 08, 2017. Born on May 22, 1934 in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Edward L. and Gladys Mosely Strange. Until his final breath, he kept his keen sense of humor and flirted with every lady with whom he encountered. He was a founding member of Lake Wateree Presbyterian Church.

Marvin was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart, Barbara Kirby Strange; a daughter, Patricia Pearson; and brothers, E.L. and Olin Strange. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Novellino; sister, Ruby Dukes; brother, Howard Strange; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and his church family.

Family and friends will celebrate Marvin's life at 2 o'clock on Saturday, November 11th at Lake Wateree Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. Fran Bragan officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
