Mary Ruth Anderson Brazell, 86, of Columbia, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Born February 18, 1932 in Saluda, SC she was a daughter of the late Emanuel Doc Anderson and Geneva Sons Anderson. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

Survivors include her children, Edna Terry (the late Paul), Thomas Brazell (Patty), Donald Brazell (Dale), Debbie Mayo (Melvin), Patricia Allen (Stanley) and Tammy Brazell; grandchildren, Russell Terry (Becky) and Michael Terry, Toni Jo Simpson (Jamie), Chris Adkins (Paulette), Joseph Parker, Lee Ann Parker, Tabatha Lever (Doug), Timothy Brazell (Laura), and Joey Allen and Jason Allen; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Rikard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Thomas "Buddy" Brazell; and a sister, Nora Lee Harmon.

A funeral service for Mrs. Brazell, will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, February 6th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Interment will follow at Lexington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock in the evening Tuesday at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel.
