A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Mary Ann Reckling Gamble, 76, of Chapin, SC, will be held 2 o'clock, Friday, October 22, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Columbia, SC. All are welcome to attend, however, masks and social distancing practices are encouraged to maintain a safe environment for all. Mrs. Gamble, devoted wife of 56 years, precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home, on Monday, August 30, 2021, on her 76th birthday with her family by her side.

Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Louie Ernest Reckling, Jr. and Mary Eddie McDaniel Reckling Wommack.

Mary Ann loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was very talented and enjoyed home decorating and remodeling.

Survivors include her husband, JM; son, Jonathan Gamble (Andrea) of Monks Corner, SC; daughters, Ella Coursey (Ricky) of Irmo, SC, and Katie Raines (Kevin) of Chapin, SC; grandchildren; Ashton Gamble (Jasmine), Miller Gamble, Marlee Gamble, Nikolai Gamble, Nina Gamble, Abby Coursey Rabon (Chase), Klaire Raines, McGuire Raines, Cooper Raines, and MaryKate Raines; great-grandchildren; Eli Gamble, Ollie Gamble, Jonah Gamble, Andrew Gamble, Julianna Gamble, and Joselynn Gamble; sister, Katharine Delk (Thomas) of Blythewood, SC; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her dear friend and nurse, Betty Cramer, for loving and caring for her for so many years; you are family to us.
