Mary Price Beckman Kapp, 76, of Columbia, died Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was born in Charleston, SC, to Martin Price Beckman and Mary Ligon Evans Beckman. Mrs. Kapp was a graduate of Columbia College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Art. She loved to travel, beginning with Bobby's military service in Germany from 1962 to 1964. She was a former member of the Board of Directors for Sandhills Academy. Mrs. Kapp was an ovarian cancer survivor for 21 years.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert "Bobby" Kapp, Jr.; children, Robert "Bo" Kapp, III (Denise), Mary Copeland Kapp (John Renner); grandchildren, Parks Kapp, Hannah Kapp, Sophia Renner, Bailey Renner; brother, Martin P. Beckman, Jr. (Gabriele) of Asheville, NC; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The memorial service for Mrs. Kapp will be held 11:00 am, Monday, June 25 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral with a reception to follow in Satterlee Hall. Burial in the churchyard will be private.
