Ms. Mary Loner Tobias, 57, of Blythewood, died Friday, May 16, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence M. Loner and Martha Lucille Sanders Loner.

Ms. Tobias is survived by her son, Michael Tobias, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Tobias Guilard (Sam); grandchildren, Destiny Guilard, and Jamie Guilard; brothers, Steve Loner (Nannie), Gary Loner, Lawrence Loner (Patty); sister, Diane Hendrix (William, Sr.); and Mary's significant other, Wilbur Simons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Loner.

A funeral service for Ms. Tobias will be held 11 o'clock, Tuesday, May 20th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Dr., Columbia, with The Rev. Fleming O. McClinton officiating. Burial will follow at Round Top Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the church, 120 Round Top Church Ct., Blythewood, SC, 29016.
