Mary Anne Williams Morrison, 89, of Lexington, died Saturday, June 23, 2018. Born on August 15, 1928, in Greenville, SC, she was the only daughter of the late George Lloyd Eugene and Annie Dillon-Holliday Williams. Mrs. Morrison graduated from Columbia High School. She was a wonderful counselor, eternal mother and genuine friend. Mary Anne always had a good sense of humor and offered excellent advice. She was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church in Columbia, SC for many years.

Survivors include her sons, Eugene Joseph Morrison, Jr. (Michele Sherry), Richard Lloyd Morrison (Tina Marie Morrison), David Williams Morrison (Lynne Ann Morrison), and Kevin Paul Morrison; grandchildren, Kelly, Joseph, Graci, Shawn, Drew Morrison and Lee Morrison Magnetico (Joseph); and her four-legged companion, Buster Louie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Joseph Morrison, Sr.; a granddaughter, Ashleigh Lauren; four brothers, Robert E., James L., Jack C., George; and a lifelong friend, Delores Gannt

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mrs. Morrison at 10 o'clock, Wednesday, June 27th, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Ln, Columbia. Final Commendation and Farewell Prayers will be said at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia. The family invites friends back to the church for a reception following the services. The Rosary will be prayed at 5 o'clock, Tuesday evening, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd Ext., and will greet friends following the Rosary until 7 o'clock.
