Mrs. Melissa "Missy" Anne Medlin Lee,50, passed away Wednesday, April 7,2021 after a long battle with Lupus. She fought a hard fight for 31 years and passed peacefully with her family at her side. Missy was born October 30, 1970 in Columbia, SC.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Wayne Lee; son, Mitchell Medlin (Melissa); daughter, Marcie Medlin; grandson, Kyle Littlejohn; mother, Dorothy Santana; father, Thurman Medlin (Carlene); siblings, Karen Medlin, Thurman Medlin Jr. (Erin), Tonya Hewitt (Guy), Shane Medlin (Maria); 6 nephews; 2 nieces; 7 great nieces and nephews, to include a great nephew coming on May 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Littlejohn; stepfather, Gilberto Santana; aunt, Laura Ford; grandmothers, Rae Roberts, and Gladys Neese; grandfathers, Walter "Buddy" Medlin and Colie Roberts.

A funeral service for Missy will be held 3 o'clock, Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel with The Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Lighthouse Christian Ministries Church Cemetery, 1500 Cherokee Blvd., Elgin. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 2 o'clock. All are invited to attend; however, masks are required, and social distancing is enforced to maintain a safe environment for all.
