Melva J. Baehne, 82, passed away at her home in Lexington County January 3, 2015. Born February 12, 1932, in Lexington County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Bennie I. Jackson and Irene Lilly (Laird) Jackson. She was a UCLA graduate and a retired telephone engineer. She is survived by her grandson, Daniel C. Baehne; her sister, Jean J. Corbett; niece Sharon Dianne Lee; and nephews David Allan Lee and Roger Dennis Lee. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel R. Baehne and was known by many as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. No service will be held.
