Michael Charles Diimmler, 63, of Blythewood, died April 7, 2015. Born in Queens, NY on June 28, 1951, he was a son of the late Charles and Dorothy Toman Diimmler. Michael worked as an engineer with KitchenAid-Whirlpool.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Burke Diimmler; his son, Mark (Catherine) Diimmler of Lansdale, PA; his daughter, Jessica (Matthew) Campbell of Navarre, FL; grandchildren, Annabel and Gabrielle Campbell; and his brother, Glen (Peggie) Diimmler of Irmo. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his grandson, Cooper Campbell.

The memorial service for Mr. Diimmler will be held 4 o'clock, Friday, April 10th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 3 o'clock. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
