Michael Meddaugh, II, 32, of Elgin, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 in Columbia. A visitation will be held from 4 until 7 o'clock Saturday, January 30that the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. Everyone is invited to attend but will be asked to abide by the state's recommendations of wearing masks and social distancing to provide a safe environment for all.

Michael was born in Elgin, South Carolina to Mike and Pam Meddaugh on April 21, 1988. He attended Spring Valley High School. He enjoyed guns, trucks, fresh kicks, his dogs, and spending time with his family.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Pam Meddaugh; uncle, Marc Meddaugh; grandfather, Ronald Meddaugh, Sr.; and aunt, Joye Meddaugh. Michael is survived by his father, Mike Meddaugh; brother, Troy Lytle; grandmother, Sandra Arline Whitaker Meddaugh; aunts, Tammy Meddaugh, Kathy (Kyle) Ward, Amy (David) Whitehair; uncles, Ronald (Stacey) Meddaugh, Daniel Meddaugh, Davey (Natalie) Hite; as well as many cousins.

Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
