Michielle Ann Cary, 52, of Elgin, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Born on June 7, 1972, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Paul Edward Hunley and Marlene Cook Hunley. After graduating from Irmo High School, she attended Central Carolina University.

She is survived by her daughter, Savannah Cary of Elgin, SC; son, Spencer Cary of Elgin, SC; two brothers, Mark Hunley (Kimberly), and David Hunley (Sonya); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband, Ronald Leroy Cary.

The funeral service for Mrs. Cary will be held at 11 o'clock, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC 29223. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service for family and friends to gather. Burial will follow the service at Springvale Baptist Church Cemetery, Springvale Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Mayo Clinic ALS Research Program, 4500 San Pablo Road, Jacksonville, FL 32224, in honor of Mrs. Michielle Ann Cary.
