Mildred "Millie" Virginia Vacha Lydick, 90, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2018. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Bertha Vacha.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Frisca) and Gregory (Lisa); and grandchildren, Jennifer and Matthew.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Hibbs M. Lydick; by her sister, Ruth M. Sznyter; and by her parents.

Millie was a loving and caring sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, who were at the center of her life. Her gentle manner and sweet smile will be missed by all who knew her.
