Mrs. Mildred J. Marsh (Nanny Marsh), 87, of Blythewood, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 20, 2022. Mrs. Marsh was born on April 30, 1935 in Columbia, SC. She was a daughter of the late Furman Joye and Ollie Mae Joye of Columbia, SC.
Her husband, Joseph Marsh; her son, Donald W. Marsh; and her grandson, Christopher P. Sheppard preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Entzminger, of Elgin, SC, Ann Lowrance of Blythewood, SC and Debbie (Steve) Moore, of Blythewood, SC; her grandchildren, Jamie (Melissa) Entzminger, of Elgin, SC, Jason (Christy) Entzminger, of Elgin, SC, Travis (Tiffany) Moore of Lexington, SC, and Joe Marsh of Charleston, SC; her great-grandchildren, Madeline Sheppard, Hannah Entzminger, Cameron Entzminger, Jay Entzminger, Chase Entzminger, Grace Entzminger, Parker Moore and Paislee Moore. She is also survived by her sister, Betty McQuatters; her brother, James (Slick) Joye; and her brother-in-law, Robert (Bobby) Strange. Mrs. Marsh had extended family members and friends she loved dearly.
Mrs. Marsh was a very energetic person, who loved her Monday and Friday night wrestling on TV and loved to cut her 2-acre yard with her push lawn-mower.
She was a long-time member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Blythewood, SC where she attended faithfully until her illness.
The funeral service for Mrs. Marsh will be held Tuesday, May 24th, at 3 o'clock, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 1729 Blythewood Road, Blythewood, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 2 o'clock, at the church. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Entzminger, Jay Entzminger, Cameron Entzminger, Travis Moore, and Mark Moak and Jimmy McLemore.
The daughters of Mrs. Marsh would like to say Thank-you to Three Oaks Hospice, especially Kelly, Shannon and Kristy who showed love and patience during Momma's illness.
