Mrs. Modell C. Blizzard's Obituary
Modell C. Blizzard, 95, of Columbia, died Friday, May 29, 2020. Born on May 16, 1925, she was a daughter of William Curtis Crammie and Loretta Hall Crammie.
She is survived by a son, John Blizzard Jr., and a daughter, Brenda Anne Goodman; a granddaughter and great grandchildren.
Modell was preceded in death by her husband, John Blizzard Sr., and a grandson, Johnny Goodman.
She was a member of Denny Terrace Baptist Church and a beloved friend to all she met. Modell's family was first and foremost. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her church family.
A graveside service for Mrs. Blizzard will be held at 12 o'clock on Friday, June 5th at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC, with the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Dennis officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the fmaily.
