Molly Louise Blizzard, 82, of Lugoff, died on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Born in Kershaw County, SC on June 28, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Levy Shehorn and Annie Mett Shehorn. Mrs. Blizzard was the matriarch of her family and loved her career as a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, John Henry Blizzard, James Wesley Blizzard (Deborah), and Joe Frank Blizzard (Donna); son-in-law, Tally Peake; grandchildren, Sandy Blizzard (Dempsey), Joe Blizzard (Brittany), Elizabeth Evans, Kristi Blizzard, Brody Peake, and Zach Peake; brother, Billy Shehorn; special niece, Crystal Rhodes, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Wesley Blizzard, Jr.; son, Don Allen Blizzard; daughter, Mary Lou Blizzard Peake; her twin brother, Junior Shehorn and sisters, Molly Shehorn, Betty Lou Holt and Annie Grace Ross.

The funeral service for Mrs. Blizzard will be held at 3 o'clock, Friday, January 5, 2024, at Fox Hill Baptist Church in Lugoff, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church beginning at 2 o'clock. The burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.
