Ms. Monika Christina Lautenschlager Whitt's Obituary
Monika Christina Lautenschlager Whitt, 75, of Columbia, died Monday, May 11, 2015. Born October 2, 1939 in Aschaffenburg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Hans and Maria Schach Lautenschlager. She attended St. Michael & All Angels' Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her daughter, CJ Whitt of Columbia; a son, Edward Whitt of Manassas, VA; brother, Hansjorg Lautenschlager of Neuss, Germany; and grandchildren, Amelia, Wyatt and Gage Whitt.
A graveside service will be held 10 o'clock, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, with Deacon Ron Anderson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Pets Inc, PO Box 6394, West Columbia, SC 29171. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
