Monique Paulette Gollach, 79, of Elgin, died Friday, January 9, 2015. Born June 12, 1935 in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, France, she was a daughter of the late Andre and Marie Louise Guillaud. Monique was a homemaker, and in her later years worked at the Post Exchange at Fort Jackson. She was of the Catholic faith, and loved her dogs.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Gollach; sons, Terry (Cyndy) Gollach, Jim (Tamara) Gollach, Mike Gollach; daughter, Patricia (Roy) Crout; grandchildren, Marc and Dusty Crout, Aaron, Evan, Matthew and Lindsey Gollach; and great grandchildren, Angel and Taylor Crout, Mahala DeHart, Kyleigh, Haydyne, Kaydynce, Marly, Blain, Landyn, and Cash Crout, Anya and Esme Gollach; and her furbaby, Cloe.
A graveside service for Mrs. Gollach will be held 11 o'clock, Tuesday, January 13th, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, with The Rev. Nancy Brazell officiating. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 121 Humane Ln, Columbia, SC 29209; or to the charity of one's choice.
