Jerry Clarence Miller, 84, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. Born in Elkhorn, West Virginia, on June 9, 1938, he was a son of the late Garnie Miller and Ethel Roark Miller.

Jerry was a proud veteran of the United States Army. After selflessly serving a total of 27 years, he retired as a Master Sergeant. Following his military career, he working as a CDL driver for local trucking companies. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed working on antique cars. He was a kind, gentle man who would give anyone the shirt off of his back. He will be dearly missed by many.

Survivors include his brother, Lester Eugene Miller (Pamela); mother to his child, Margaret Yarwick; and sister-in-law, JoAnn Miller; as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Eugene August Miller; siblings, Lorriane Barnes (Richard), Lucille Finley (William), Lois Ann Stanley (Robert), and Jimmy Miller; longtime spouse, Patricia Miller.

A celebration of life for MSG Miller will be held at a later date and announced by the family.
