Nancy Campbell Lambert

Nancy Ann Campbell Lambert, 88, of Blythewood, died on Friday, March 27, 2026. Born in Crag, West Virginia, on October 19, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Edmund James and Roxie Aileen Davis Campbell.


Mrs. Lambert was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She worked for Shakespeare Company LLC, known then as Shakespeare Manufacturing for several years. She enjoyed camping with her husband, reading and tending to flowers in her yard. Her favorite past time was shopping which she did often.


Survivors include her children, George Lambert, Jr. (Naomi), Melissa Ann Lambert and Tammy Faye Twitty (Roger); grandchildren, George W. Lambert, III (Jessica), Joshua Twitty (Maegan), Karmen Center (Eric) and Audrey Ann Lambert; daughter-in-law, Erin Lambert; as well as numerous great grandchildren and a special niece, Betty Campbell Ratliff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lambert, Sr.; children, Eddie Lambert and Vince Lambert; and grandsons, Zachary Lambert and Barry Lambert.


The graveside service for Mrs. Lambert will be held at 11:30 o’clock, Tuesday, March 31st, at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Blvd. Columbia. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 until 11 o’clock, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.


Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to St. Joeph’s Indian School, 1301 N. Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
