Nancy Roberta "Bobby" Jordan Sharpe, 86, of Columbia, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in Palm Coast, Florida. Born on May 27, 1926 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Haskell Lee Jordan and Agnes Riley Jordan. Bobby was born on her mother's birthday. She was a graduate of Seneca High School, and was married to the late Taylor Lafayette Sharpe for 51 years. Bobby was a long time member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church, now New Heights Church.

Survivors include her sons, Allen Lee Sharpe, Irmo, SC, Ronald Taylor (Helen) Sharpe, Palm Coast, FL; her grandchildren, Robin Rebecca (Brian) Willette, Irmo, SC, Ronald Douglass (Elisa) Sharpe, Rosevelt, UT, Jennifer Sue Clark, Chapin, SC, William Taylor (Lisa) Sharpe, Chapin, SC; great grandchildren, Brianna, Kaitlin and Christopher Willette, Irmo, SC, Jace Clark, Chapin, SC, Hunter, Luke, Colton Sharpe, Rosevelt, UT, Mary Hammond Sharpe, Chapin; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Jordan. Bobby is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends; including a special niece, Carol Fendley. In addition to her parents and husband, Bobby was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Lee Jordan; sisters, Nora J. Tippett (Oscar), and Jean King (Ernest).

The funeral service for Mrs. Sharpe will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, August 25th, at New Heights Church, with The Rev. Michael C. Townsend officiating. Visitation will be in the church prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock. Burial will follow at Crescent Hills Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Luke, Bill, Gene and Doc Tippett, Steve and Eric Jordan and Alex King. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
