Nancy Jane Waldron, 82, of Columbia, died on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Born in Elizabethton ,TN on January 20, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Robert Pleasant and Dolly Pleasant. Nancy was graduate of Elizabethton High School and enjoyed painting, making crafts, sewing and her time as a Memom to her grandchildren. She was a member of Bayview Baptist Church and retired from the City of Columbia council on Aging. In her earlier years, she also enjoyed selling Tupperware.

Survivors include her sister, Charlene Bellomy; sons, Robert Gibson Waldron (Tamsen), Charles Raymond Waldron (Jenny), Mark Joseph Waldron (Kristi); grandchildren, Graham Cooper Waldron, Karsyn Carolina Waldron, Kamdyn Shayne Waldron.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Bennie Waldron; brother, Joseph Pleasant; sister, Dianne Pleasant; and sister-in-law, Shirley Waldron.

The funeral service for Mrs. Waldron will be held at 5 o'clock, Monday, August 9th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. Burial will follow the service in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 4 o'clock.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Gibson Waldron, Chuck Raymond Waldron, Mark Joseph Waldron, Graham Waldron, Joe Chavis and Dennis Black; and honorary, Uncle Kenneth Waldron.
