Mrs. Naomi Ann Mallinson, 70, of Lexington, died Sunday, January 31, 2016. Born on June 10, 1945, in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary Bush Mallinson. Naomi was an exceptional student and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She attended Beth Shalom Synagogue, where she enjoyed participating in Torah study and Tuesdays with Friends. Naomi was a kind, honest, and gentle person who will be greatly missed by her family.

Naomi is survived by daughters, Kim Brody of Lexington, and Delphine Brody of California; granddaughter, Brianna Rafferty of Lexington; former husband, Kenneth Brody of Florida; and brother, Gerry Mallinson of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Sheldon Mallinson.

A graveside service for Mrs. Mallinson will be held at 11 o'clock, Thursday, February 4th, at Arcadia Lakes Cemetery, 1401 Arcadia Lakes Dr., Columbia, with Rabbi Jonathan Case officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
