Natalie Yeo Fong was born into the Christian household of Denis and Swee Choo Yeo. Raised in Columbia, SC, she grew up trusting in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, whom she would love until the end of her life. As the middle of three daughters, she brought them all together into a close and loving sisterhood. A musically inclined child, she played the violin, often performing trios with her sisters Evangeline and Ivanie and quartets with them and their mother.
Natalie graduated from Irmo High School in 1987 and went on to obtain her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in violin performance at Temple University under the tutelage of Helen Kwalwasser and Yumi Scott.
In her career as a musician, she performed with the Haddonfield symphony orchestra.
Natalie poured out the later years of her life in raising her beloved son, Brandon Christopher. She also touched many lives with her warmth and love for Christ and the people around her. She was a member of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, a fellowship which provided her much comfort and support.
After a lengthy illness, Natalie entered into glory on January 18, 2024. She is survived by her parents, Denis and Swee Choo, her sisters Evangeline and Ivanie, and her son Brandon.
To God be all the glory.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ…a new creation! The old things passed away. Behold, new things have come into being and continue! 2 Corinthians 5:17 A Literal Translation
