Obituary
Neva Ann Rouse, 77, of Columbia, died on Friday, September 27, 2024. Born June 29, 1947, in Anderson, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Harlan Reed and Doris Jones Reed. Ms. Rouse's greatest love in life was spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and spent her spare time quilting, reading, gardening, and cooking. Ms. Rouse was an advocate for animals and took great joy in caring for her fur babies.
Survivors include her children, Deneise Hair (Keith Hair, Jr.) and Delmas Barker. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Cody Ross, Ann Perry, and Zach Barker, as well as Her great grandchildren, Oliver and Wesley Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, P.J. Harney.
A private service to celebrate Ms. Rouse's life will be held at a future date to be announced by Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel.
