P. Carey Brazell, 78, of Columbia, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Born November 1, 1936 in Columbia, he was a son of the late Clarence L. Brazell and Bessie Klapman Brazell. Mr. Brazell was the owner of Myers-Brazell & Associates, Inc. an Independent Manufacturers Rep. Group. He was a member and past President of the Southern Travelers Club, OPRA, NOPA, was a former Mason and a member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Bozardt Brazell; daughters, Debbie (Chip) Melton of Cramerton, NC, Cindy (Katie Phelps) Brazell of Atlanta; granddaughters, Maria Melton, Christa (Luke) Wackerhagen, and Jenna Melton; great-grandsons, Brett and Sammy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Mr. Brazell will be held at 3 o'clock, Saturday, January 31st at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road, Columbia. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 o'clock.
