Pamela (Pam) Ringer Bass, 74, of Blythewood, died on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Born in Sharon, PA, on February 4, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Hiram Ringer and Lila Mae Root Ringer Lees. Mrs. Bass was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Lugoff, where she enjoyed serving the church in various capacities. She often spent time with her family and countless hours quilting, sewing, crocheting and helping anyone in need. Above all, she loved the Lord, her family and never missed an opportunity to be with them.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth "Kenny" Jack Bass; children, Jackie Amerson (Russell), of Elgin, Lynn Rabon (Steve), of Blythewood, Shelley Barr (Glenn), of Orangeburg, Ken Bass (Heather), of Coppell, TX, Angela Cerbelli (Biagio), of Fort Mill, Barbie McCaskill (Matt), of Lugoff, Donna Bass, of Columbia, and Douglas Bass, of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Cody Amerson (Emily), Courtney Hingst (Brody), Jacob and Justin Rabon, Addison, Ashlyn and Abigail Barr, Grace, Trey and Laney Bass, Katie Pierson, Sara Beth and Daniel McCaskill; as well as her siblings, Gladys Dunn (Frank), Ray Ringer, Gloria Roberts (Paul), and Emma Caldwell; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hatchell, and Sandy Manion. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Gerald Ringer, Harry Ringer, and Veronica Roby.

The funeral service for Mrs. Bass will be held at 11 o'clock, Wednesday, July 21st, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. The Rev. Dr. Charles Everett will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 9 o'clock.
