Patricia "Pat" Crouch Browner, 93, of Columbia, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, she was one of seven children of the late Robert Bennett and Lottie Lee Crouch and was married to her sweetheart, the late Harold Dean Browner on August 27, 1949. Pat was a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church.

She was the cafeteria manager for St Martin De Porres and then for all the Fort Jackson Elementary Schools. She also cooked the Wednesday night suppers at North Trenholm Baptist Church for many years. Pat had a passion for cooking and loved to share with friends and those in need. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, who loved her family unconditionally.

Pat is survived by her three daughters, Donna Holland (Bert), Nancy Wilkes (Tim), Janet Browner (Johnny Sanders); three grandchildren, Brian Holland, Julie Holland, and Sydney Browner DuRant. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers, Joe Crouch, Robert Crouch, and sisters, Mildred Lee Crouch, Mary Carolyn Thomas, Kathryn Ann Crouch and Charlotte Sue Crouch.

A service will be held at 1 o'clock, Wednesday, September 21st, at Shives Funeral Home Chapel on North Trenholm Extension, with the Rev. Joe Copeland and Rev. David Knapp officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 o'clock at the funeral home. A private burial will be held Thursday in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
