Patricia Jacobs Campbell, 91, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Born in Richland County, SC, on September 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Leroy Jacobs and Bertha LeGrand Jacobs.

Ms. Campbell, a loving mother and Mamaw, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful homemaker and her delicious cooking was enjoyed by many. She was excited to share her recipes and was happy to showcase her home and several recipes when featured in the Camden Chronicle. Ms. Campbell had a strong work ethic and worked well into her late 70's outside the home in various secretarial positions at Southern Bell, Elgin Watch Company, Dupont, Pontiac Magistrate's Office and lastly at Ward Financial Services. Annual trips with her sisters were always special and near to her heart. When she was not spending time with family, she enjoyed sewing, crafting and, in later years, shagging.

Survivors include her daughter, Sonja Campbell Parker; son, Barry Campbell (Wendy); grandchildren, Elliott Campbell, Toni Parker, Wyatt Campbell (Claudia) and Blease Campbell; as well as her sisters, Jewel Easler, of Hendersonville, NC, and Emily Benton (Bruce), of Monroe, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Alonzo Jacobs, Jr., Thera Dale, Harris Jacobs, Heyward Jacobs, and Ronnie Jacobs.

The funeral service for Ms. Campbell will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday, October 4th, at Spears Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Stuart Jacobs and Rev. Greg Sweet officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church beginning at 1 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
