Mrs. Patricia Marie Christensen, 57, of Columbia, SC, passed away on March 10, 2025. Born on August 31, 1967, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, she was a daughter of the late William H. Lynch and the late Lucille Theodora Lynch.

Mrs. Patricia graduated with honors from Richland NE High School and went on to dedicate 29 years of her life at Richland School District 2. Throughout her career, she touched countless lives with her wisdom, kindness, and passion for helping others. Outside of her professional life, she found joy in the simple things; whether it was working on puzzles, sewing, playing board games, or tending to her garden. She especially cherished planting flowers with her beloved granddaughter, Sadie, and enjoying Saturday morning breakfast with her grandchildren. Her smile was infectious, always brightening up any room she entered. For 40 years, Mrs. Patricia was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served with faith and dedication. Her selflessness and willingness to give to others were a testament to the love and grace she carried in her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, Dana Christensen of Columbia, SC; sons, Ted Christensen of Dallas, TX, and Jason Christensen of Ridgeway, SC; daughter, Kristin Campbell (Steven) of Columbia, SC; brother, David Lynch (Sandy) of Elgin, SC; sister, Donna Lynch of Lugoff, SC; and 4 grandchildren, Skyler Christensen, Kaleb Christensen, Sadie Campbell, and Steven "Scooter" Campbell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Lynch.

A visitation will be held from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC 29223. The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Ward, 2350 White Pine Road, Columbia, SC 29223. Burial will follow the service in Centerville Cemetery, 867 State Rd S-20-67, Ridgeway, SC 29130.
