Blythewood: Patricia B. "Tricia" Goodwin, 45, of Blythewood, died Friday, July 27, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Easley, SC, she was the daughter of Donald Joe and Vera Looper Brown. She was an office administrator with Ameriprise Financial and a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church. Tricia's priorities were family and church. She was an active leader of the youth at Sandy Level, and used her love of music as part of the church's music ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Goodwin; daughters, Lauren and Katie; and her parents, Donald and Vera Brown.

The funeral service for Tricia will be held 2 o'clock, Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Sandy Level Baptist Church, 408 Blythewood Rd, Blythewood. The Rev. Dr. E. Benjamin Newman, Jr., The Rev. Jim Looper, and The Rev. Jake McClure will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 pm.
