Patricia Townsend Pruitt, 67, of Columbia died Sunday, January 1, 2017. She was born on July 23, 1949 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Prentice Arthur and Ellen Thompson Townsend. Mrs. Pruitt was a member of Breath of Life Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her children, Rhett Pruitt (Tammy), Rebekah Siceloff (Jeff) and Alex Pruitt; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Rhett Pruitt, Sr.

The service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Breath of Life Lutheran Church, 300 Main Street, Blythewood, SC 29016. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
