Patricia Ann Sill Roof, 80, widow of William (Billy) Roof, died at her home in Blythewood on August 10, 2021. Born in Camden on November 27, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Edward Mobley and Rubie Reynolds Sill.

Patricia worked for Richland School District Two for more than 20 years. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Patricia also loved to read and spend time at the beach. She attended Jackson Creek Baptist Church in Dentsville for many years.

Survivors include her two sons, William (Jennifer) Roof, of Blythewood, and Patrick (Meg) Roof, of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Mikayla Russo, Alex, Emma, Aden, Austin, Ava, and Wyatt Roof. She is also survived by her brothers, Johnny (Cile) Sill, and Jerry Leech, and his children, Vicki and Jay; as well as many members of her Reynolds family of Camden and Lugoff, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Sill; and sister, Linda Sue Sill Turner.

The funeral service for Mrs. Roof will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday, August 14th, at Jackson Creek Baptist Church, 7778 Two Notch Road, Columbia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Friday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
