Ms. Patsy Delores Barnett, 71, of Aiken, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Born August 22, 1950, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Robert Leo Free and Betty Mae Jackson.

Ms. Barnett attended Hayward Gibbes Middle School and went on to have a career in the sewing and cleaning industry. She worked many years in a sewing room, as well as a custodian for Lexington Hospital. Patsy was an advocate for animals and loved crystals. Ms. Barnett loved spending time with her family and friends most of all.

Survivors include her son, Roy Britton (Delores), daughters; Sherry Flynn and Betty Nix, brother; Robert Free, brother-in-law; Ernie Odom, along with many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Ronald "Chuck" Barnett and sister, Linda Odom.

The funeral service for Ms. Barnett will be held at 1 o'clock Monday, August 30th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext Columbia, SC 29223. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 12 o'clock noon.
