Obituary
Paul "Bug" E. Puckett, Jr., 77, of Prosperity, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, after a brief battle with multiple lung diseases. Born on December 31, 1944, in Cedartown, Georgia, he was the son of the late Paul E. Puckett, Sr. and Edith Roberts Puckett.
Paul was the loving husband to Faye Sawyer Puckett and together enjoyed a successful marriage of 36 years. He was a true outdoorsman, who had a passion for hunting and fishing. Paul was a loyal, hardworking man and dedicated a total of 28 years to his career in textiles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Stephanie Hurst (Ted) of Pensacola, FL; Stacey (Beverly) of Cedartown, GA; and Mark (Renee) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Paige, Nicholas, Samantha, Brody, and Chase.
Paul will be dearly missed and carried in our hearts forever.
A memorial for Mr. Puckett will be held at later date. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association, PO Box 756, Osceola, WI 54020.
