Paul M. Wilson, 62, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Mr. Wilson was born in Winston Salem, NC, on October 13, 1958. He was the son of James Williard Wilson and Betty Louise Randleman. Paul is survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Wilson Loveless (Reid); son, Jarrett Paul Wilson (Whitney); two expectant grandchildren; stepmother, Alma C. Wilson; siblings, James W. Wilson, Jr. (Robin), Debra D. Wilson and Kathy E. Raines (Preston); step-brother, Jan Rumbley (Julie); as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of coworkers and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

Paul was employed for 38 years at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health beginning as a Welder and advancing his career to becoming a Project Manager for Physical Plant. Paul was well known, loved, and respected in the Blythewood community. Hunting and fishing with family and friends were his passions.

A visitation celebrating Paul's life will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 4 until 7 o'clock, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. All are invited to attend; however, masks and social distancing are required to create a safe environment for all.
