Mrs. Peggy B. Ebert, 85, of Columbia, SC, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023. Peggy was born to Mrs. Frances Bell Dunton and Mr. Henry L. Dunton on March 9th, 1938 in Roanoke, VA. Aside from her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her brother, Henry L. Dunton Jr., and her daughter, Kelly L. Parker.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Col. Hugh D. Ebert Jr.: her son, Hugh D. Ebert III (Linda), her granddaughter, Taylor M. Stoltz (Matt), and her great-grandson, Marshall Siska.

Peggy was always such an elegant lady who loved participating in various garden clubs in Columbia. Her own garden was a masterpiece of beautiful flowers and shrubs. Peggy was a member of St. Martin's-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Columbia.

Peggy will be missed by her husband and family as well as her wonderful neighbors whom she has known and loved for many years.
